Jabra Evolve 75e Earbuds Review
The earbud-headset Jabra Evolve 75e has active noise-canceling technology, simple access controls, and wireless connectivity.
In 2017, the Jabra Evolve 75e became the first wireless earbuds to be certified for professional UC (unified communications) use.
They combine the finest qualities of a traditional consumer Bluetooth earbud design with cutting-edge features such as a neckband that has built-in music and call controls, as well as earbud wingtips that are ergonomically designed.
The audio quality is impressive in all aspects. The treble produces clear and lively tones, the midrange is rich and harmonious, and the bass delivers an unexpectedly robust sound. Moreover, the conveniently placed buttons for adjusting music volume and handling calls enhance the user's overall experience. However, the only drawback I found with this headset is that the neckband does not fit tightly and may shift if you're on the move.
Positives
- Some of the features that we appreciate include the ability to customize the fit,
- convenient controls for managing calls and music playback,
- the presence of active noise-canceling (ANC),

Issues
- The neckband has a tendency to shift This product isn't tailored for sports or athletic activities.
The earbuds feature a rubber collar that is flexible and worn around the neck. This collar not only ensures stability but also contains all the sound and communication controls needed while on the move.

Jabra Evolve 75e Earbuds Package
The Jabra Evolve 75e is a set of earbuds that come in a simple cardboard box with the product name and brand logo on the front. Inside the box, you will find a circular case made of strong plastic material with the Jabra GN logo on it. The case has a zipper that can be opened 360 degrees, making it easy to use and durable.
When you open the case, you will see that the earbuds and neckband are neatly stored on one side, secured in a soft mold. On the other side, there is a mesh pocket where you can find extra earbud gels and wingtip stabilizers. These accessories help you customize the fit of the earbuds to your ears.
Additionally, the package includes a USB dongle that can be used to connect the earbuds to your computer or other devices wirelessly. The dongle is stored in a small, clear pouch so you can easily find it when you need it.
Overall, the Jabra Evolve 75e comes in a sturdy, convenient carrying case that keeps all the components organized and protected.
Locating the charging cable that was tucked away beneath the molded insert, which secured the headset, consumed some of my time.
In the Package box
The package contains the following items:
- Jabra Evolve 75e wireless earbuds,
- three different sizes of EarGel (small, medium, and large),
- three sizes of EarWing (small, medium, and large),
- Jabra Link 370 Bluetooth USB dongle,
- a micro USB charging cable,
- as well as a quickstart guide and a user manual.
Although the accessories provided with this high-end headset are not as luxurious as I had anticipated, I do appreciate the availability of alternate EarGel and EarWing sizes. Moreover, the carrying case that comes with the headset is compact and user-friendly.
Designing for Jabra Evolve 75e Earbuds
The Jabra Evolve 75e is a type of wireless headphone that has a different style than other types of headphones that fit inside your ear. Instead of being small and compact, these headphones have a lightweight band that goes around your neck to help keep them in place.
The band also has buttons you can use to control the sound and microphone, and a place to charge the headphones. Even though the headphones may look a little bit big, they are actually comfortable to wear and designed to be practical.
If the wearer engages in excessive movement, such as during exercise or sports activities, the neckband of the 75e may shift position, which can be less than ideal.
The completely black color scheme of the neckband and earbuds is complemented by a few silver accent spots, which add a touch of style. The branding is understated, as evidenced by the discreet Jabra logo on the rear surface of the neckband and small logos on both earbud arms.
I particularly admire the design aspect that enables effortless access to the controls. The neckband arms have four buttons for managing muting, volume, music, pairing, and calls.
Included with the earbuds are wing tips of varying sizes - small, medium, and large - that are intended to attach to the ear's pinna and enhance stability. When not in use, the earbud backings securely attach via magnetic areas instead of dangling freely.
The microphone for the headset is situated on the right-hand earbud wire and hangs down beside the wearer's mouth, positioned optimally to capture clear speech. Additionally, a "busylight" function notifies those in the vicinity that the user is engaged in a call.
Comfortable in Evolve 75e Earbuds
The Evolve 75e headphones are specifically engineered to ensure comfortable wear during prolonged listening sessions, and they certainly live up to their promise. After using them for several weeks, for over six hours each day, I can attest with certainty to their exceptional comfort.
The Jabra EarGels, made of silicone, are available in three sizes and provide a comfortable fit. I was able to find the ideal size for my ears, which ensures they stay securely in place even during extended use.
Battery life for Evolve 75e Earbuds
The Jabra Evolve 75e is designed to meet the needs of professionals who require dependable earbuds for prolonged use during communication and listening. Being a freelancer who relies on a headset for consistent performance while working from home, I am satisfied with their durability.
Shanling MG600 Earphones Review
According to the specifications, the integrated rechargeable battery can offer a maximum of 14 hours for phone calls or 13 hours for music playback. During an entire 8-hour workday, I utilized them after fully charging the battery. Although I played uninterrupted music without any conversation, the battery level was still above 25% when I inspected it at the end of the day.
With its fast-charging abilities, the Evolve 75e can provide more than an hour of battery life with only a 15-minute charge time.
To obtain information about the battery level, simply press and hold the "volume up" button on the neckband. Doing so will trigger an automated voice response that offers a battery-level update.
Mic
The Jabra Evolve 75e is a pair of wireless earbuds that are designed for use with Microsoft Teams, which is a communication and collaboration platform for businesses. These earbuds have a special feature that uses technology called DSP to help cancel out background noise so that your voice sounds clear and easy to hear during phone calls or video meetings.
The earbuds have three microphones that work together to pick up your voice from different directions, which helps to further improve the quality of the sound. One of these microphones is located on the wire that connects the earbud to the neckband, and it's specifically designed to pick up your voice.
When the microphone is used during phone calls or video meetings, it provides clear and consistent audio quality that makes your voice sound full and unwavering. Even during lengthy business calls, there won't be any problems with your voice sounding fuzzy or cutting out.
Finally, the microphone supports voice commands, which means you can use voice assistants like Siri or Google Now to control your earbuds without having to use your hands. This feature adds to the convenience and functionality of the Jabra Evolve 75e.
Bluetooth option for Jabra Evolve 75e Earbuds
The Evolve 75e is a pair of earbuds that can connect wirelessly to your phone or computer. However, it also comes with a USB cable that you can use to connect it directly to your computer or laptop.
To connect the earbuds to your computer wirelessly, you need to use a Bluetooth USB adapter that is designed specifically for this purpose. The adapter is controlled by a software that helps to manage the connection between your computer and the earbuds.
The earbuds and the Jabra Link 370, which is the Bluetooth USB adapter, are already paired together, so they will automatically connect to each other when you turn them on. This means you won't need to go through the pairing process every time you want to use them.
Connecting with a Bluetooth device is a breeze and occurs almost instantly.
After connecting the headset to my iPhone, I put its range to the test and found that I could use it without any issues from the opposite end of my apartment, which was around 65 to 70 feet away. However, if there are obstacles such as walls, doors, or other surfaces in between the headset and the paired device, the connection may experience some drop-offs.
App
The Jabra Sound+ app from Jabra enables users to personalize their audio experience. The app includes a music equalizer, three pre-set audio configurations labeled "moments" (Commute, In-public, and In-private), and a range of preferences for call experiences.
Jabra Evolve 75e Earbud Sound
The Evolve 75e earbuds provide a well-balanced audio profile, featuring robust bass output, precise midrange frequencies, and clear, accurate treble notes. This makes them an excellent choice for both enjoying music and conducting phone conversations.
Bass
The bass performance of the Evolve 75e delights me. They produce a robust low-end rumble that enhances the depth of vocals and bass-heavy music. While they may not satisfy the demands of audiophiles seeking an all-encompassing audio experience with booming bass, they are sufficient for my needs.
The bass performance is significantly enhanced by activating the active noise-canceling feature. With ANC turned on, the thumps and punches have a greater impact compared to when it's switched off.
To achieve the best possible audio performance across all domains, it is recommended to activate ANC.
Midrange
The audio performance in the midrange frequency is unexpectedly impressive, especially considering that the headset seems to target business professionals rather than audio enthusiasts.
I employed the Evolve 75e for listening to diverse music genres and found its fidelity and clarity of instruments and midrange vocals to be highly satisfying. The balanced output of these features led to an overall well-rounded and enjoyable listening experience.
Treble at Jabra Evolve 75e headset
The treble quality of this headset is highly impressive, leaving users satisfied. High-pitched vocals and instruments such as cymbals, flutes, and violins sound crystal clear, crisp and bright. Notably, there are no undesirable, sharp high-frequency sounds or inconsistencies in the delivery of highs, resulting in an exceptional listening experience.

Final Thoughts
If you are a business professional seeking superior personal audio for work or leisure, the Jabra Evolve 75e is an exceptional headset option. These headphones provide high-quality studio sound and hassle-free communication while on-the-go, whether you're in a quiet private area or a bustling public environment.
The audio quality of these IEMs is impressive in every aspect. The high-frequency sounds are clear and sharp, the middle-range sounds are rich and evenly distributed, and the low-frequency sounds are unexpectedly robust, delivering ample impact and resonance. Overall, the performance is top-notch and satisfies all my audio requirements.
With its convenient controls for managing music playback volume and calls, the user experience is greatly enhanced. Unlike ordinary true wireless in-ear monitors, the Evolve provides greater control options.
My main issue with the Evolve 75e headset is that the neckband doesn't fit securely, causing it to shift around when I'm on the move. Since I lead an active lifestyle and love spending time outdoors, these headphones aren't ideal for sports, exercise, or workouts.
The Evolve 75e stands out from being just good to becoming great, all thanks to its active noise canceling feature. With ANC, it becomes effortless to take calls in public as it cancels out nearly all background noise. Furthermore, the ANC significantly enhances bass performance, thereby providing an overall superior listening experience.
